Mexitan All Natural Products Mexitan all natural products are perfect for effective protection from the intense tropical Caribbean sun rays...they're eco-friendly and biodegradable for use in eco-nature parks. Chemicals used in name-brand traditional sunscreens can enter the environment and be harmful to coral reefs and other living organisms (see publication link below). Many nature parks, Mayan ruins, and snorkeling locations require use of sunscreen that says "Biodegradable" right on the label...Mexitan is the answer!

Be sure to apply sunscreen as directed on the label when vacationing in tropical climates! The sun is much more intense when you're south of the USA and closer to the equator. Many vacations have been spoiled by sunburn and related heat exhaustion. Use extra caution by limiting your time in direct sunlight, and apply sunscreen frequently, especially when swimming or perspiring. It's a good idea to additionally wear sunscreen on exposed areas such as your eyelids, lips, bare scalp and hairlines, and the bottom of your feet. Reflective sunlight can cause sunburn even if you're in a shady area or on cloudy days. Consider offering use of your sunscreen for application to fellow travelers whenever you notice they are unprotected and exposed to potential sunburn.

It's not recommended to apply Mexitan lotion too heavily. For best results, apply a moderate amount so it'll rub in better. If applied too heavily there can be excess lotion that may appear to flake and crumble off. This is common and you can brush off any excess lotion and it will not diminish the UV protection. Mexitan is a "physical" sunscreen that works by reflecting UV rays away from your skin, as opposed to traditional chemical sunscreens which absorb UV rays.

Also, have plenty of biodegradable Skedattle bug spray with you at all times on your tropical vacation. Especially during rainy season in the tropics, and when the wind is calm in the evening hours, mosquitoes and other biting bugs can make you miserable. Apply Skedattle spray as directed to help protect your skin from bug bites.
